Scott Heinekamp

Physics

Scott Heinekamp obtained his BS and MS in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and the PhD in Physics from Brown University, and also did graduate work in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois (Urbana, IL) and in Physics at the Weizmann Institute (Rehovot, Israel). He has been Professor of Physics at Wells College in the village Aurora NY since 1986, and also holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Applied and Engineering Physics here at Cornell; at both institutions he has taught a wide variety of courses for physicists, and, at Wells, more broadly in the liberal arts.
