Quincy Loney

Quincy Loney earned a PhD in Mathematics from Binghamton University. His research is in algebra and he is very interested in Lie theory and representation theory. He also earned BA and MA degrees in mathematics from SUNY Potsdam. Throughout his career Quincy has taught a variety of mathematics courses including courses specially designed for the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) at Binghamton University. Quincy joined Cornell University and the Learning Strategies Center as a lecturer in 2013. He teaches Math 1101: Calculus Preparation and Math 1006: the former prepares students for Math 1106 and Math 1110 and the latter provides support for Math 1106.
